Clearing & Settlement Senior Engineer

JetPay is currently looking for a Senior Engineer within the Clearing & Settlement team. This person serves to ensure the smooth operation of transaction processing and is responsible for application software, troubleshooting, and tertiary support. The ability to work in a team environment and take the lead on root cause analysis, problem resolution, and proposed enhancements is crucial for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide programming expertise for the company's clearing and settlement systems
  • Work closely with major card associations (AMEX, Discover, MasterCard, Visa) on various compliance tasks
  • Assist the organization's accounting, risk, and customer support teams with software requirements
  • Engage in the design process
  • Investigate issues identified by stakeholders
  • Participate in code reviews and system integration testing efforts
  • Interface with the card associations and settlement banks for issue resolution
  • Serve in a tertiary on-call capacity for critical production issues
  • Other related duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Education: minimum BS degree in IS/CS or equivalent experience
  • Programming and scripting languages: PL/SQL, UNIX shell scripting, Python, Tcl/Tk, C/C++, Perl
  • Databases: Oracle 10g/11g
  • Operating environments: Unix, Linux, Windows
  • Development methodologies: Agile/SCRUM/SDLC
  • Other software: IDE (any language), code versioning tools, Oracle SQL Developer, Microsoft Excel

LINUX/UNIX Administrator

JetPay is looking to grow its talented team of administrators that are responsible for the on going maintenance, growth and development of our UNIX infrastructure which consists of Linux and Solaris Servers in a 24x7 highly available data center environment. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with strong work habits and have mid-level career experience in maintaining large numbers of UNIX servers. This experience should be rolling out new systems, maintaining, upgrading, replacing, and improving the long-term performance of the systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision and maintain Linux servers in production and development environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical problems relating to infrastructure and applications.
  • Perform architectural design and capacity planning
  • Develop tools for automation, monitoring, and system reporting.
  • Work on daily operational tasks and long-term projects with minimal supervision
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
  • Build and maintain technical relationships across teams
  • Effectively communicate technical proposals to team members and management
  • Develop and maintain documentation for standards, processes, policies and procedures
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the infrastructure

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Linux administration in a 24x7 business critical environment
  • Strong understanding of Linux performance tuning and kernel parameters
  • Detailed knowledge of standard Unix services (DNS, NTP, SMTP, etc.)
  • Experience with Apache, Radius, and implementing certificate authorities (EJBCA, etc.)
  • Understanding of network and storage principles
  • Experience with configuration management
  • Experience with HP and Sun hardware
  • Working knowledge of the Oracle database product
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Demonstrated scripting ability (bash, TCL, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with remote team members

The demand for our services is great and we are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Implementation and Support team in order to help facilitate the process of onboarding new clients utilizing our HR, TLM and payroll solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in / manage the training of customers on JetPay’s payroll, HRIS and time & attendance processes
  • Communicate with customers establishing expectations, timelines and ongoing follow up while meeting deadlines.
  • Develop onboarding plans for clients and internal conversion team.
  • Responsible for all phases of onboarding of new client until delivery of service.
  • Monitor onboarding process while addressing needs, successes and contingency plans
  • Follow up, maintain contact, prepare and plan resolution for new clients
  • Provide information to clients, clarifying requests and assessing client needs

Sr. Accountant

Carrollton TX      Reports to Contoller      Fulltime      Salary

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  General ledger month-end close procedures including preparation/calculation and entry of journal entries including revenue, recurring, accruals, pre-paid's, etc
  Preparing schedules for monthly board and management reporting.
  Performing account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
  Perform assessments of the focus areas including review of existing processes and procedures.
  Researching and analyzing accounting issues such as income and balance sheet variances.
  Make recommendations to improve or implement technology solutions that monitors compliance of JetPay merchants.
  Assisting in preparation of annual audit, financial statements and tax filings.
  Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets.
  Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, as needed.
  Ensuring consistent compliance with policies and procedures.
  Other miscellaneous responsibilities as assigned by Divisional Controller.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly desired.
Three to Five years of relevant accounting and/or financial reporting experience.
Credit Card processing experience preferred.
Must be detail oriented and deadline oriented.
Solid understanding of general accounting principles
Strong technical work experience in general ledger accounting.
