CISP® is a set of 12 industry-wide requirements designed to protect sensitive information from being compromised.

CISP® was developed for merchants and service providers who process, store, or transmit cardholder data. Any merchant or service provider who processes and/or stores cardholder data is vulnerable to compromise; CISP® reflects Visa's longstanding commitment to information security.
